About DOT Physicals

Certified DOT physical examinations are required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) for commercial drivers, ensuring safety and readiness on the road.

What to Bring

  • Driver's License
    A valid, non-expired Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or standard driver's license.
  • Medication List
    A complete list of all current prescription medications, including dosages and names of prescribing doctors.
  • Glasses or Contact Lenses
    If you are required to wear corrective lenses for driving, bring them to perform the vision test.
  • Hearing Aids
    If you use a hearing aid device, please wear it to perform the required hearing clearance exam.

Special Conditions Prep

  • Diabetes: Bring your most recent A1C laboratory values.
  • Heart Condition: Bring a recent clearance letter from your cardiologist.
  • Sleep Apnea: Bring CPAP compliance compliance printout (90-day log).
